My son, two granddaughters, and I stayed here for three nights. To say the place was spacious and clean is an understatement. Everything we needed was provided for, including a delicious bag of coffee. There was a short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed each day. Very relaxing.

Being from Az the cool weather was refreshing. The red woods were as always a spiritual journey visited twice. The restaurants we eat at were outstanding.

The house was large, clean and comfortable. The only drawback for me was the steaming TV service not use to it and would like to have my news on the day it happens. Other than that was an outstanding stay.

Really great house. Would love to stay here again. Such a pretty view and it was super clean. We were on the front patio every night for dinner. Quick walk to the beach. The beach is really rocky, but it’s very pretty.

This house was great and really well thought out. Single level, great for our guest with mobility concerns and very comfortable and well furnished. I would stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Brookings! It is a short walk to tide pools and a quick drive to the beach for swimming and campfire. The hosts were fantastic. The whole experience was refreshing.

Nice location and well equipped home

We loved it at this cute, clean place so close to the beach. You can watch the ocean on the front deck as you sip wine and watch the waves crashing across the street. About 5 minutes walk to McVey Beach with some gorgeous views . Great place to watch the sunset. We enjoyed our beautiful weekend in Brookings. So close to the Redwoods, a casino, lots of hiking and biking in this area. Not much shopping but the weather was so nice we played outside everyday! We come to Brookings regularly to visit our son. We’ve stayed in a few places, using AirBnB and VRBO to book. We’ve been looking for a house that we would want to come back to, and we have found it!

We found this home to be very clean and well located. It’s a short walk to beach access, and the ocean view from the front windows is sweet. We were concerned when we drove up that the house was pretty close to the road. This was not an issue and we were impressed with the peacefulness of the area. It’s a few minutes drive into Brookings if you need anything from town.

For those who like to cook, the kitchen is large and well equipped with up to date appliances, good grade pots and pans, and cutlery. We had everything we needed at hand. The furnishings were comfortable and usable, we felt at home. The owner was available when needed.

We like to hike, and there are miles and miles of beaches, tide pools, and trails to discover right out the door. A short drive north of town will bring you to access for the Oregon Coast Trail. We hope to schedule future trips to take advantage of the summer festivals that are held in town. River boats and fishing are also close at hand.

We look forward to returning to this great ocean view home!

We enjoyed our stay at this vacation rental. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet, the kitchen was very well-equipped with good quality appliances, and there was a view of the ocean which was across the road. We had quite a bit of rain or would have enjoyed sitting on the deck looking at the waves. Our only complaint was the lack of either cable or satellite TV, as we like to watch local news and weather and also sporting events. We were only able to access Netflix, which we don't especially care for. But otherwise, we would recommend this rental.

Very spacious for our family of 9! Nice yard with enough room for my two little boys to have an easter hunt. Beautiful view and a quick walk to the ocean! We loved looking at the wildlife in the tide pools. The road was quiet and had little traffic.

One of the most reasonably priced ocean views on the Oregon coast. The house is very clean and user friendly, with good ocean views from the kitchen, living room, and master. Not ocean front, and there is a road between you and the ocean, but you can still hear and see it pretty well. Short walk to a state park with beach access. Close enough to town for anything else that you want. Very friendly and responsive owners and management group. Will stay here again.

we stayed with our two yearold and it was perfct ,clean and safe with lots of floorspace to play ,cozy towels and extra blankets ,wish there was a king bed and it would be perfect,ocean view is good even tho house sits right on ocean view rd you dont really notice when your in the house

Rented this cottage for my girlfriend’s Birthday weekend, we needed a place which was close to downtown, close to the beach and an open floor plan so we could host friends.

On our Friday night arrival we were greeted with front porch lights on and an easy check in. With a quick cab ride over to downtown Brookings we were able to make our dinner reservations.

The following morning we were glad to find complementary coffee that we enjoyed on the front deck while over looking the ocean.

After quick trip in to town and farmers market for groceries we spent most of our time on the beach which was just a short walk and our friend’s 4year-old was able to make the walk with ease. Beach access was right by the FRISBEE GOLF COURSE(next time we are bringing our discs)

Evening was spent with a bbq on the front deck, kitchen came well equipped with large fridge and everything we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. The house itself had a real nice decor, not cluttered,plenty of counter space,comfortable beds and very clean, “Makeup” removal towels were very nice touch.

In short we really enjoyed our stay hosts who were unintrucive but available for any questions we had; we will be staying here again.

The place was nice and clean, the oceanview was great and relaxing. We really enjoyed are stay.
